Are you interested in making money online, don’t quit your day or night job yet as building an online income will take time. Well I say it is possible to make that money over time. Don’t just expect it to be there over night. It has taken me time to build two of my blogs up to a PR3 for a page ranking to be exact more like 10 and 11 months both of my blog spot blogs are that old. Well with the page ranking I can get better and better offers though several pay per post programs.. Yes there are people that will pay you to post about their sits with link backs to their site.
Find a good program to get involved in and stick with it, be an active member and work on getting referrals (with out sending out spam) . To get those referrals you have many options other than personal friends, you can use pay to click programs, or pay to read programs.
So in closing the best advice I can give you is to build your online income slow, this way it will be sure to stay there. Build it fast and it could fail.
Ohh I am posting this in all of my current blogs. Which is why you may see it copied elsewhere.

Great Recipie |
I love using an Eclectrics® Mixer. One of the advantages is that it is pretty much hands free. Just add your ingredients and then you’re on your way. I have owned a Hamilton Beach® Stand Mixer before and it is one of the better ones on the market. I want to share one of my family recipes with you. This is really good and I hope that you all enjoy this as much as we do.
Milky Way Cake
1 c butter/margarine
6 milky way candy bars
4 eggs
2 ½ c flour
2 c sugar
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 ¼ c buttermilk
1 c chopped walnuts
Melt candy bars over low heat with ½ c of butter. Cream sugar with ½ c butter. Add eggs one at a time. Add baking soda and flour alternating with buttermilk. Add melted candy bars and vanilla. Mix well. Add nuts. Bake in bundt pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 20 min.
Frosting
1 /2 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
Confectionary sugar
Buttermilk
Mix butter, vanilla and cocoa together. Add confectionary sugar and butter milk until drizzle consistency. Drizzle over cake. This is also good with IceCream.
So as you can see a Hamilton Beach® Mixer is a good one and it does make this tasty cake.

Important Rules in Website Design |
When it comes to your website, extra attention should be paid to every minute detail to make sure it performs optimally to serve its purpose. Here are seven important rules of thumb to observe to make sure your website performs well.
1) Do not use splash pages
Splash pages are the first page you see when you arrive at a website. They normally have a very beautiful image with words like "welcome" or "click here to enter". In fact, they are just that -- pretty vases with no real purpose. Do not let your visitors have a reason to click on the "back" button! Give them the value of your site up front without the splash page.
2) Do not use excessive banner advertisements
Even the least net savvy people have trained themselves to ignore banner advertisements so you will be wasting valuable website real estate. Instead, provide more valuable content and weave relevant affiliate links into your content, and let your visitors feel that they want to buy instead of being pushed to buy.
3) Have a simple and clear navigation
You have to provide a simple and very straightforward navigation menu so that even a young child will know how to use it. Stay away from complicated Flash based menus or multi-tiered dropdown menus. If your visitors don't know how to navigate, they will leave your site.
4) Have a clear indication of where the user is
When visitors are deeply engrossed in browsing your site, you will want to make sure they know which part of the site they are in at that moment. That way, they will be able to browse relevant information or navigate to any section of the site easily. Don't confuse your visitors because confusion means "abandon ship"!
5) Avoid using audio on your site
If your visitor is going to stay a long time at your site, reading your content, you will want to make sure they're not annoyed by some audio looping on and on on your website. If you insist on adding audio, make sure they have some control over it -- volume or muting controls would work fine.

Wired or Wireless Networks |
Well I saw a question on a forum that I belong to the other day asking which is more secure. Well truth be said both about just as secure as the other. Now on the other hand if you dont enable your incription on your wireless router or airport then that is a less secure connection than a wired connection. Wireless networks need to have there incription setup with a good strong access key to be any good, so the more characters in your access key the better.

Do you like the Music Group the Police? Well if you do you will be happy to hear that they have a new CD out there, this CD hit the stores on June 5th. There are some great Songs on that Police CD including some of my favorite songs from the past or should I say the late 70’s and early 80’s time frame. Here are a list of the songs on that CD, are any of these songs some of your favorites.
Disc 1:
1. Fall Out
2. Can't Stand Losing You
3. Next To You
4. Roxanne
5. Truth Hits Everybody
6. Hole In My Life
7. So Lonely
8. Message In A Bottle
9. Reggatta De Blanc
10. Bring On The Night
11. Walking On The Moon
12. Don't Stand So Close To Me
13. Driven To Tears
14. Canary In A Coalmine
Disc 2:
1. De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da
2. Voices Inside My Head
3. Invisible Sun
4. EveryLittle Thing She Does Is Magic
5. Spirits In The Material World
6. Demolition Man
7. Every Breath You Take
8. Synchronicity I
9. Wrapped Around Your Finger
10. Walking In Your Footsteps
11. Synchronicity II
12. King Of Pain
13. Murder By Numbers
14. Tea In The Sahara
Now I myself do not like all of the Songs on this CD but most of the songs on this CD are good. A list of the songs / sound tracks on this CD is posted here. Also when you get your Police CD they have included a really cool vintage The Police Poster which in included with the CD
If you check out there site and their Music you will find that all of there music has been re-mastered and is available on the site, including their most recent CD they have out. So if you like the Police you will defiantly like there new CD they have out called Police CD which has both old and new songs on it.

Pingo an Online Calling Card |
Have you heard of Pingo? They have an online calling card. I personally haven’t heard of them nor can I figure out why someone would need an online calling card. Well reading through the site Pingo offers online management of your virtual calling card. This calling card can be used for both domestic and international calls. Do you need a Cheep prepaid phone card? Well Pingo has them for gifts or what ever you need the cards for. Do you have a need for Discount long Distance? Well Pingo has that also only it looks like they do it better than the other companies. In Checking out the Pingo Rates it looks like they have one of the best which is 1.8 cents per minute for anywhere in the US except for Alaska and Hawaii. Plus you can use their calculator to see how much it will cost for other countries.
Special Promotion - Pingo is working with Qoof.com to pay 5 dollars to the first 250 Pingo users for usermericial videos. I personally am not good at making a video by maybe you are. Maybe you will be one of the first 250 Pingo users and make that additional 5 dollars. Checking out the site I just found out that you can submit up to 5 videos for that 5 dollars and that is a total of 25 dollars from Qoof if you qualify.

New TV Series looks interesting |
There is a new TV Series starting on June 28th it is called USA Network's Burn Notice. Well this series is sort of like survivor. How would you survive in a city with out any money? Me I don’t know what I would do I would probably try to be or look like a homeless person with a money cup maybe I could collect some money or something, as far as eating go’s in a strange city with no money I would hang out around Restaurant dumpsters and get some table scraps to survive. There are other things I would do like sleeping in the part or depending on the weather a homeless shelter. Check our any of the links provided here to find out more about how USA USA Network's Burn Notice star actor survives after getting burned from the CIA. Can you survive like Michael Weston has to after getting burned from the CIA? I don’t know if I could or not but I would give it one H of a try, I would defiantly be growing a beard and looking scraggly so that I would look like a homeless person and get food and a place to sleep that way. What would you do?

wireless in the home |
Did you know that there are 2 ways to setup your wireless router. yes you can set it up as a standard router or you can set it up as an airport / access point. Depending on the number of computers in your home it might be wise to do this. Lets say you have more than 4 computers in your home. I have 5 so I need an 8 port router or I need 2 4 port routers.
I have a 8 port Netgear Router business class router for the main incomming router and I have a belkin wirless router for wireless activity. Now I can place the wireless router higher in the house so that I can get more range from it. and I dont have to expend a lot a cat5 cable to have wired connections also so you will save in the cat5 cabling.
Setting it to work as an airport is easy to do and you can assign that router a fixed ip address.

Are you honest with your reader’s? |
Do you have any blog ethics? I do so if I get paid for a post in my blog if I am not given a disclosure link I will at least put at the bottom of my post that it is a sponsored post. With that said Pay Per Post has raised Seven Million Dollars, and is looking for ways to spend it. They will be spending it on the bloggers like this post is going to be sponsored also. How do you think they should spend that type of money? I personally don’t know how they are going to spend it. I would personally like to see them spend it on good opportunities for all of us pay per posters. With more opportunities, always like to say better money for the post we do for them but I also know that, that money comes from the advertisers. Maybe they could spend more of it on Advertising directed towards advertisers so that more advertisers will come in so that there would be more blog ads for us bloggers to post and thus we bloggers can make more money through the programs. If you’re a blogger and you don’t mind posting blog ads on your blog feel free to check out the program there are several requirements that your blog needs to meet before it is accepted. i.e. it has to be over 90 days old with some sort of traffic to the blog and there are a certain number of posts that the blog has to have. Other than that there are a couple of other requirements that need to be met but you can find out all about that on the site. Maybe you can sign up and make some money posting blog ads on your blog.
News Release as follows.

Blogging Marketplace Secures $7 Million Series B
Draper Fisher Jurvetson leads round and joins Board of Directors
ORLANDO, FL – (June 12, 2007) – PayPerPost, the leading marketplace for advertisers to reach bloggers and other consumer content creators, today announced it has completed a $7 million second round investment led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson, an investor in the company's Series A and one of the world’s leading high-technology venture capital firms. The financing brings the total amount of capital raised by PayPerPost to over $10 million, giving the company considerable resources for further development as the industry’s leading Consumer Generated Advertising marketplace. Additional participants in the round include existing investors Inflexion Partners and Village Ventures as well as new investor DFJ Gotham. With this investment, DFJ Managing Director Josh Stein also joins PayPerPost’s Board of Directors.
“PayPerPost created this exciting new advertising space and has established itself as the industry leader,” said Ted Murphy, chief executive officer of PayPerPost. “Although we’ve only used a portion of our first round capital, this added support from investors unlocks significant growth potential. Our content creator and advertiser ROI metrics clearly demonstrate the upside for PayPerPost’s model. We intend to use this capital to build the infrastructure, visibility and professional expertise necessary to reach and retain a greater network of advertisers and content creators than ever before.”
Since its founding in June of 2006, PayPerPost has signed more than 6,500 advertisers to its groundbreaking service, which has enabled Consumer Content Creators to be compensated for their efforts discussing specific companies, products or services via blogs, videos or other media. The content creators are required to disclose relationships with advertisers on their blog, providing transparency for the end reader. Over 125,000 Internet postings, most in the form of blogs, have already earned money for their creators through PayPerPost’s innovative marketplace. PayPerPost recently released PayPerPost Direct, a disruptive new service that allows advertisers to contract and negotiate directly with individual bloggers they identify through a safe, managed system.
“PayPerPost has laid a strong foundation for the future,” noted Tim Draper, founder and managing director of Draper Fisher Jurvetson. “It continues to attract a critical mass of participants from both the advertising and blogging communities. Analogous to Overture’s sponsored search model, we believe PayPerPost’s business model holds disruptive potential and will enable the company to thrive in the evolving paid-content arena.”
To mark the $7 million dollar funding, PayPerPost has launched a new website detailing the company’s service offering at http://www.payperpost.com. Bloggers and advertisers can easily sign up at the site and begin leveraging the self service marketplace.

Disabling Downloads |
A question came across while I was browsing mylot so I figured I would put my answer to that question here. First off you need to get to the internet options screen probably under the tools dropdown menu. in most IE versions.
When you pull up ith internet options screen it will look like this.
you will see that I have my secutity set to medium. What I have to do is click on customize.
you will see by this screen that I have found the download section under the customize option, you will see I have download inabled, now if you want the disabled you just need to click on the disable button and then save. now when something needs to download it wont untill you go back and change that option back. Now there is the other option which I have disabled is change the automatic prompting and it will prompt you before you do a download.

Now this site has coupons for online use but they are great, and provide additional savings so check out Coupon Chief for online coupons. Microsoft Home Server |
Well I was reading through one of my news letters that I recieve, and low and behold there was one about microsoft home server. Now this package intrigued me to a great extent as I like playing with server software. MHS short for Microsoft Home Server is an imbeded product. The part that intrgued me the most was about the backup and restore capability that it has. It will back up your entire computer everynight. If your personal computer crashes and you need to replace the hard drive it is a pain staking task to restore it back to the way it was, sometimes that took 6 months or more to get it the way you want. Now with MHS you just put the MHS CD in your computer after you replace the HD and in about an hour your system is back to the way it was. That is a lot easier than spending all weekend or several days to get it back to the way it was with a whole lot less down time.

Traveling |
Well one thing everyone needs to do is make some sort of Hotel Reservation when they travel. While I was on the site I just checked to see what it would cost per night at a motel in Nags Head, NC. The Cheapest I found was 130 a night which is not bad for a summer time rate in the middle of summer.
I then did a search on vacation rentals in the same area, and I came up with only one hotel for August and at 170 per night now to me that is High as I don’t like to spend a lot of money but I do know that it is reasonable for that part of the season, and that time of year.
Now I just had to check out their vacation packages also this included airfare, hotel, and a car rental. This was form the closest city to where I live to Maui and what I found is a very reasonable deal for 2 adults and 1 child for a week and the deal came up from 4500 to 6600 dollars for the trip. Not bad for a coast to coast trip and then from the pacific coast to Hawaii in my opinion
Ohh I just wanted to let everyone know that my figures are for 2 adults, and 1 child age 5 that way you can adjust for your family size.
So in Closing if you visit Hotel Reservation.com you can find a good deal with any of your traveling plans. Just remember if you want to plan your own vacation or are on a business trip. You can opt for just booking a hotel. If you want a vacation rental you can book it here also. Or if you want to just opt for the entire vacation package you can do that. All the rates I saw are good and you will probably have a good time with out a lot of hassle.

Another way to save Documents |
How many computers do you have? I have several here. Well how important are the documents you have in your my documents folder? I know mine are important. Well I have one computer that I am running like a server but doesnt have server software installed on it, but it does work fine. see my example
Now I have blocked out part of the Target address but I will explain. Once you have setup a directory on the computer your using as a server, mark the directory as a shared directory. you can even put a password on that directory. Keep that server on all the time. Now when you open the properties of your my documents folder you will see a button that says find target click on that and search your network for the directory that you created on your server type computer and put that address in the Target box.
Now all your documents will be saved on the server type computer. If your using a laptop and will be taking it with you you can syncronize all those documents so that you have them saved on you laptop and they will also be on that server.
If you have any questions about this post please leave a comment.

A New Program from PPP |
There is a new program from Pay Per Post it is called PPP Direct. With this new program advertisers can approach bloggers through PPP. This here will eliminate some of the over head that advertisers pay and more money goes directly to the blogger.
If you’re a member of one of the other pay to post programs like i.e. Loudlaunch. Reviewme, Bloggerwave, there are more out there but I wont mention them all an advertiser might pay 100.00 per post and the blogger posting for that program might get 50 dollars or less. Remember that is an example and not an actual figure, as I am not an admin of those sites nor am I an admin for PayperPost.
PPP Direct charges a ten percent fee and five percent of that goes to Paypal fee’s and credit card charges. So in the above example for some of the other programs, with PPP Direct an advertiser could pay 100 dollars per post and the blogger would get 90 dollars. Remember this is an example and not actual figures.
A blogger could deal directly with the advertisers also, but this could also result in more spam in the bloggers email. I know that I as a blogger don’t need any more spam. If your interested in blogging and making a little money with your blog check them out and keep more of the money.

I next turned my wireless router into a access point. following the instructions in the manuals made it quite easy.
If you havent secured your wireless connection you need to someone can pick up on your wireless signals and get into your computers (at least this is possible). Securing your router and your computers is the right thing to do. see a previous post on this also.

Instead of grabbing that mouse while your typing away just press the F5 Key and your screen will refresh. Neat trick and I know it works with IE7 I am not sure about prior versions or Firefox. So if anyone out there wants to leave a comment and try this feature out with any of the other browsers. Leave a comment if it works in the other browsers.

Wireless Security |
I saw a post on mylot where someone has a wireless router setup. and a person/neighbor is connecting to that router to gain access to the internet. Well that prompted this post so here go's
First off I would enable MAC Address filtering. The screen shot is an example from a belkin router.
Turn it on and then program in your MAC Address you can get this by opening a command prompt which you can find by
Clicking on Start
Then Click on Run
you will get a place to put a command in to Run type in cmd and press enter the following screeen will come up
Where you see the c:\> type in ipconfig /all
In this example you will see a link that says Physical Address this is the MAC Address on the router you will need to enter that mac address or else you wont be able to gain access to it.
Now you will need to set the security up. click on the security line in the example and enable it. I recomend setting it to WPA-PSK for the current best security. There are other options there. and it will need to be set according to what the computer has available not all wireless network cards have that particular security incription in that. You can leave the defualt incription set that is fine. Then you will need to set the password.
Once the Security is set up on the Router you will need to setup the wirless network card usually when you connect it will prompt you for the security password. you can set the save the password or Key which ever you prefer to call it. I have one that has over 30 character as the key.
I hope this helps.

Why Write an eBook? |
It's not true that everything that has been said has already been written. Since that unfortunate axiom came into use, the whole universe has changed. Technology has changed, ideas have changed, and the mindsets of entire nations have changed.
The fact is that this is the perfect time to write an ebook. What the publishing industry needs are people who can tap into the world as it is today – innovative thinkers who can make the leap into the new millennium and figure out how to solve old problems in a new way. EBooks are a new and powerful tool for original thinkers with fresh ideas to disseminate information to the millions of people who are struggling to figure out how to do a plethora of different things.
Let's say you already have a brilliant idea, and the knowledge to back it up that will enable you to write an exceptional ebook. You may be sitting at your computer staring at a blank screen wondering, "Why? Why should I go through all the trouble of writing my
ebook when it's so impossible to get anything published these days?
Well, let me assure you that publishing an ebook is entirely different than publishing a book in print. Let's look at the specifics of how the print and cyber publishing industry differ, and the many reasons why you should take the plunge and get your fingers tapping across those keyboards!
Submitting a print book to conventional publishing houses or to agents is similar to wearing a hair shirt 24/7. No matter how good your book actually is, or how many critique services and mentor writers have told you that "you've got what it takes," your submitted manuscript keeps coming back to you as if it is a boomerang instead of a valuable mine of information.
Perhaps, in desperation, you've checked out self-publishing and found out just how expensive a venture it can be. Most "vanity presses" require minimal print runs of at least 500 copies, and even that amount will cost you thousands of dollars. Some presses' minimal run starts at 1,000 to 2,000 copies. And that's just for the printing and binding. Add in distribution, shipping, and promotional costs and - well, you do the math. Even if you wanted to go this route, you may not have that kind of money to risk.
Let's say you already have an Internet business with a quality website and a quality product. An ebook is one of the most powerful ways to promote your business while educating people with the knowledge you already possess as a business owner of a specific product or service.
For example, let's say that you've spent the last twenty-five years growing and training bonsai trees, and now you're ready to share your knowledge and experience. An ebook is the perfect way to reach the largest audience of bonsai enthusiasts.
EBooks will not only promote your business - they will help you make a name for yourself and your company, and establish you as an expert in your field. You may even find that you have enough to say to warrant a series of ebooks. Specific businesses are complicated and often require the different aspects to be divided in order for the reader to get the full story.
Perhaps your goals are more finely tuned in terms of the ebook scene. You may want to build a whole business around writing and publishing ebooks. Essentially, you want to start an e-business. You are thinking of setting up a website to promote and market your ebooks. Maybe you're even thinking of producing an ezine.
One of the most prevalent reasons people read ebooks is to find information about how to turn their Internet businesses into a profit-making machine. And these people are looking to the writers of ebooks to provide them with new ideas and strategies because writers of ebooks are usually people who understand the new cyberspace world we now live in. Ebook writers are experts in Internet marketing campaigns and the strategies of promoting and distributing ebooks. The cyberspace community needs its ebooks to be successful so that more and more ebooks will be written.
You may want to create affiliate programs that will also market your ebook. Affiliates can be people or businesses worldwide that will all be working to sell your ebooks. Think about this? Do you see a formula for success here?
Figure out what your subject matter is, and then narrow it down. Your goal is to aim for specificity. Research what's out there already, and try to find a void that your ebook might fill.
What about an ebook about a wedding cake business, or an ebook about caring for elderly pets? How about the fine points of collecting ancient pottery?
You don't have to have three masters’ degrees to write about your subject. People need advice that is easy to read and easily understood. Parents need advice for dealing with their teenagers. College students need to learn good study skills - quickly. The possibilities are endless.
After you've written your ebook
Getting your ebook out is going to be your focus once you've finished writing it, just as it is with print books. People will hesitate to buy any book from an author they've never heard of. Wouldn't you?
The answer is simple: give it away! You will see profits in the form of promoting your own business and getting your name out. You will find affiliates who will ask you to place their links within your ebook, and these affiliates will in turn go out and make your
name known. Almost every single famous ebook author has started out this way.
Another powerful tool to attract people to your ebook is to make it interactive. Invent something for them to do within the book rather than just producing pages that contain static text. Let your readers fill out questionnaires, forms, even crossword puzzles geared to testing their knowledge on a particular subject. Have your readers hit a link that will allow them to recommend your book to their friends and associates. Or include an actual order form so at the end of their reading journey, they can eagerly buy your product.
When people interact with books, they become a part of the world of that book. The fact is just as true for books in print as it is for ebooks.
That's why ebooks are so essential. Not only do they provide a forum for people to learn and make sense of their own thoughts, but they can also serve to promote your business at the same time.

How to Write an Ebook |
The hardest part of writing is the first sentence. When you look at the whole project, it seems like an impossible task. That's why you have to break it down into manageable tasks. Think of climbing a mountain. You are standing at the foot of it and looking up at its summit vanishing into the clouds. How can you possibly scale such an immense and dangerous mountain?
There is only one way to climb a mountain ? step by step.
Now think of writing your ebook in the same light. You must create it step by step, and one day, you will take that last step and find yourself standing on the summit with your head in the clouds.
The first thing you have to do, as if you actually were a mountain climber, is to get organized. Instead of climbing gear, however, you must organize your thoughts. There are some steps you should take before you begin. Once you've gone through the following list, you will be ready to actually begin writing your ebook.
Beginning Steps to Writing an ebook
First, figure out your ebook's working title. Jot down a few different titles, and eventually, you'll find that one that will grow on you. Titles help you to focus your writing on your topic; they guide you in anticipating and answering your reader's queries. Many non-fiction books also have subtitles. Aim for clarity in your titles, but cleverness always helps to sell books ? as long as it's not too cute. For example, Remedies for Insomnia: twenty different ways to count sheep. Or: Get off that couch: fifteen exercise plans to whip you into shape.
Next, write out a thesis statement. Your thesis is a sentence or two stating exactly what problem you are addressing and how your book will solve that problem. All chapters spring forth from your thesis statement. Once you've got your thesis statement fine-tuned, you've built your foundation. From that foundation, your book will grow, chapter by chapter.
Your thesis will keep you focused while you write your ebook. Remember: all chapters must support your thesis statement. If they don't, they don't belong in your book. For example, your thesis statement could read: We've all experienced insomnia at times in our lives, but there are twenty proven techniques and methods to give you back a good night's sleep.
Once you have your thesis, before you start to write, make sure there is a good reason to write your book. Ask yourself some questions:
* Does your book present useful information and is that information currently relevant?
* Will you book positively affect the lives of your readers?
* Is your book dynamic and will it keep the reader's attention?
* Does you book answer questions that are meaningful and significant?
If you can answer yes to these questions, you can feel confident about the potential of your ebook.
Another important step is to figure out who your target audience is. It is this group of people you will be writing to, and this group will dictate many elements of your book, such as style, tone, diction, and even length. Figure out the age range of your readers, their general gender, what they are most interested in, and even the socio-economic group they primarily come from. Are they people who read fashion magazines or book reviews? Do they write letters in longhand or spend hours every day online. The more you can pin down your target audience, the easier it will be to write your book for them.
Next, make a list of the reasons you are writing your ebook. Do you want to promote your business? Do you want to bring quality traffic to your website? Do you want to enhance your reputation?
Then write down your goals in terms of publishing. Do you want to sell it as a product on your website, or do you want to offer it as a free gift for filling out a survey or for ordering a product? Do you want to use the chapters to create an e-course, or use your ebook to attract affiliates around the world? The more you know upfront, the easier the actual writing will be.
Decide on the format of your chapters. In non-fiction, keep the format from chapter to chapter fairly consistent. Perhaps you plan to use an introduction to your chapter topic, and then divide it into four subhead topics. Or you may plan to divide it into five parts, each one beginning with a relevant anecdote.
How to make your ebook "user friendly"
You must figure out how to keep your writing engaging. Often anecdotes, testimonials, little stories, photos, graphs, advice, and tips will keep the reader turning the pages. Sidebars are useful for quick, accessible information, and they break up the density of the page.
Write with a casual, conversational tone rather than a formal tone such as textbook diction. Reader's respond to the feeling that you are having a conversation with them. Break up the length and structure of your sentences so you don?t hypnotize your readers into sleep. Sentences that are all the same length and structure tend to be a good aid for insomnia!
Good writing takes practice. It takes lots and lots of practice. Make a schedule to write at least a page a day. Read books and magazines about the process of writing, and jot down tips that jump out at you. The art of writing is a lifetime process; the more you write (and read), the better your writing will become. The better your writing becomes, the bigger your sales figures.
In an ebook that is read on the screen, be aware that you must give your reader's eye a break. You can do this by utilizing white space. In art classes, white space is usually referred to as "negative space." Reader's eyes need to rest in the cool white oasises you create on your page. If your page is too dense, your reader will quit out of it as soon as their eyes begin to tear.
Make use of lists, both bulleted and numbered. This makes your information easy to absorb, and gives the reader a mental break from dissecting your paragraphs one after the other.
Finally, decide on an easy-to-read design. Find a font that's easy on the eyes, and stick to that font family. Using dozens of fonts will only tire your readers out before they've gotten past your introduction. Use at least one and a half line spacing, and text large enough to be read easily on the screen, but small enough so that the whole page can be seen on a computer screen. You will have to experiment with this to find the right combination.
Of course, don't forget to run a spell and grammar check. You are judged by something as minor as correct punctuation, so don?t mess up a great book by tossing out semicolons randomly, or stringing sentences together with commas. (By the way, that's called a "comma splice.")
Last of all, create an index and a bibliography. That's it! You've written a book! Now all you have to do is publish your ebook online, and wait for download request from your website visitors.

Apache Web Server Install |
Wewll I got the Apache Web server installed. I did have problems getting the server to load, So I had to try and install it several times getting the error messages that come up when the install is almost complete. to do this I had to keep editing the httpd.conf file till I got it right and the Apache Service loaded up.
Now some things that you definately have to do durring the install. First off I used the name of the computer for the Network Domain, then on the Server Name I used the computer name with a www. in front of the server name. I then had to put in an email address, this is what caused y install problems I never initialy put in an Administrators email address before moving onto the next step.
My next option was to use the typical install in order to get it all installed just fine. If you want to get the Apache Distribution for your machine you will need to goto http://httpd.apache.org/download.cgi

MySQL Installation |
To day I installed the first part. I went and installed the windows version of MySQL the program installed fairly easy. This was installed on a Windows 2000 machine. When I installed it I accepted the following prompts.
Typical Install, after the install then I selected configure the MySQL server now and then the Finish. Was then prompted to select the server instance configuration wizard which I selected the server machine and the default path for this install.
I then set up the networking part. With a default port of 3306 the other mode was disable or enable strict mode. I took the strict mode for now I can at least learn with the strict mode and change later if I want. I then selected to install as a service and I also included the bin directory in the path for working from the command line with MySQL. I then set the password and I didn’t set up the anonymous account. I was trying to be secure about it. The last part is clicking the finish button.
Here is where you can download MySQL installation.

Look for Windows Downloads then download the Windows Essentials file it should have a *.msi file extension.

Search Engine News |
I found a new Search Engine that appears to be good and fast. If you read the terms on the site the Search engine is by google and I know just about everyone uses Google. the only difference between the 2 search engines is Google has ads on it, and Searchmash doesnt have the Ads.
check it out at http://searchmash.com

Stat Counter |
I found a Great way to get website stats for multiple websites with only one account. So Far I have 2 projects listed, but have plans to add a few more projects all with seperate states, you can get a page view count, or a unique count. and it is completly customiseable. If you have multiple sites this is a great site and you can setup and get stats for all your sites in one place.
Here is a link to this site

They do have a pay option depending on the number of page views your site has per month also. for me I think the free option is all I will need

Outlook Express |
An error has been occuring in outlook express (OE). It is "To free up disk space, Outlook Express can compact your messages. This may take up to a few minutes." Now I dont personally use Outlook Express but a friend asked about it. like all programs it does use disk space and if you dont clean up your folders, i.e. you sent mail folder or your deleted folder. they take up space and can slow down your email processing.
Ok so now you want to clean up the OE it is easy to do I would first recomend setting OE to work off line . To set OE to work off line click on file then go down till you see work off line and click on it.
Now I would back up your email that you want saved. after the back up click on file then folders then compact all folders. Depending on how much is in OE it may take it awhile. just goto lunch or do something else while it is working.
If you do this once a month you will keep your email working fast and smothly.
